This olanly thick chenille bathroom review found a thick, plush 30x20 chenille mat priced at $9.99 with no rubber backing and no published owner ratings yet. Compared against the $9.49 Yimobra Memory Foam Bath Mat with 53,970 verified reviews, the $9.98 YDKGL Half Circle Bath Mat, and the $9.99 GRANNY SAYS Gray Bathroom Rug, the OLANLY wins on pile thickness and size but asks you to add your own non-slip pad.

Things to Know Before You Buy
- The rug measures 30 by 20 inches, sized for a wider vanity or a shared bathroom rather than a narrow single-sink spot.
- Chenille microfiber pile has no rubber backing, so a separate non-slip rug pad keeps it from sliding on tile or vinyl floors.
- It is machine washable, based on the care instructions listed with the product.
- At $9.99 it costs the same as the GRANNY SAYS Gray Bathroom Rug and fifty cents more than the $9.49 Yimobra Memory Foam Bath Mat compared in this olanly thick chenille bathroom review.
- Unlike the Yimobra Memory Foam Bath Mat, which carries 53,970 verified reviews at a 4.5-star average, the OLANLY has no published rating or review count yet, since it is a newer listing.
This olanly thick chenille bathroom review exists because the OLANLY Thick Chenille Bathroom Rugs show up constantly in searches for a soft, oversized bath mat, yet the listing carries no published star rating or review count to back up its comfort claims. We compared its listed materials, 30 by 20 inch dimensions, and $9.99 price against three alternatives, GRANNY SAYS, YDKGL, and Yimobra, to see whether the chenille pile is worth choosing over a mat with a longer review history.
The short version: the extra-thick chenille pile and the 30 by 20 inch size make the OLANLY a strong fit if you want plush coverage for a wider vanity, as long as you budget for a separate rug pad since it ships without rubber backing. We break down how that tradeoff compares with the three alternatives below, including one with a much longer review history.
Why You Should Trust Us
Best Bath Rugs is written by Ilane Tall, who researches bath textiles full time and has covered dozens of chenille, memory foam, and microfiber mats for this site, including this olanly thick chenille bathroom review. We do not run a fake testing lab and we do not claim to have physically owned or installed every rug we cover. Instead, we compare manufacturer specs, current Amazon pricing, and verified owner reviews where they exist, then flag when a listing like this one does not yet have enough review data to confirm its own comfort and durability claims.
For this review, that means reading through the chenille material, 30x20 sizing, and care instructions listed by the seller and cross-checking them against how the three alternatives are priced and rated. Where a product has no review history yet, we say so directly rather than inventing a rating to make the mat look more proven than it is. That approach applies to a well-reviewed pick like the Yimobra as much as it does to a newer listing like the OLANLY, since a long review history does not replace checking the specs yourself.
Our Research Experience
We do not run a physical testing lab for this olanly thick chenille bathroom review. We started by pulling the rug's listed specs: chenille microfiber material, 30x20 dimensions, no backing, and machine washable care instructions. From there we researched how those specs compare to similarly priced mats from GRANNY SAYS, YDKGL, and Yimobra, all of which turn up in the same searches for affordable bathroom mats.
Because the OLANLY listing has no published reviews yet, we leaned more heavily on comparing its stated dimensions and materials against the three alternatives, which do have pricing and, in Yimobra's case, a review history to check against. Yimobra's 53,970 verified reviews give us a much larger sample to weigh its memory foam and quick-dry claims than the OLANLY currently has, and we note that gap rather than smoothing over it.
We did the same for the GRANNY SAYS and YDKGL listings, reading their stated pricing and product names for anything that would meaningfully change the comparison. Neither currently shows a public rating either, so for this olanly thick chenille bathroom review, the Yimobra remains the only mat in the lineup with a verified track record large enough to treat as a reliability signal rather than a marketing claim.
Overview & Specs
OLANLY Thick Chenille Bathroom Rugs
What we like
- 30x20 size suits a wider vanity or shared bathroom better than a narrow single-sink mat
- Chenille microfiber pile has a noticeably thick, plush feel based on the material listed for this rug
- Machine washable care keeps upkeep simple for a mat this size
- At $9.99 it costs the same as the GRANNY SAYS Gray Bathroom Rug, so the choice between them comes down to material and size rather than price
Flaws but not dealbreakers
- No rubber backing, so it needs a separate non-slip pad to stay in place on tile or vinyl floors
- Has no published star rating or review count yet, so there is less buyer feedback to confirm its comfort and durability claims than the 53,970-review Yimobra Memory Foam Bath Mat
- Covers more floor than a single-vanity mat typically needs, so it may feel oversized in a smaller bathroom
| Material | Chenille microfiber |
| Size | 30" X 20" |
| Backing | None (use with rug pad) |
| Machine washable | Yes |
The OLANLY Thick Chenille Bathroom Rugs are built from chenille microfiber in a 30 by 20 inch size, sized for a wider vanity or a shared bathroom in this olanly thick chenille bathroom review. That dense chenille pile is the main reason this mat keeps showing up in searches for a plush, oversized bath rug, and the $9.99 price sits right alongside the $9.99 GRANNY SAYS Gray Bathroom Rug and a notch above the $9.49 Yimobra Memory Foam Bath Mat.
There is no rubber backing on this rug, which means pairing it with a separate non-slip pad is less optional than it sounds. The listing has not yet accumulated a published star rating or review count, so unlike the Yimobra Memory Foam Bath Mat, which carries a 4.5-star average across 53,970 verified reviews, there is no buyer feedback yet to confirm how the chenille pile holds up over repeated washes. That makes this olanly thick chenille bathroom review more a comparison of specs and price than of owner track record, at least until more reviews come in.
What We Liked
The biggest strength in this olanly thick chenille bathroom review is sheer coverage for the price. At 30 by 20 inches, the OLANLY covers more floor than a standard single-vanity mat, and its $9.99 price matches the GRANNY SAYS Gray Bathroom Rug despite the larger size. The deep chenille pile also sets it apart from the other three mats in this comparison, since the GRANNY SAYS, YDKGL, and Yimobra options each use a different material and shape rather than a chenille surface.
Machine washability keeps upkeep simple too. You can put the OLANLY Thick Chenille Bathroom Rugs through a regular wash cycle without special handling, and at $9.99 it holds its own on price against every mat in this lineup. Only the $9.98 YDKGL Half Circle Bath Mat comes close on price, and that one is a different shape built for a different spot in the bathroom.
The OLANLY also gives you a fairly simple decision to make. Instead of weighing a long list of specs, you are mainly choosing between a thicker, larger chenille mat at $9.99 and three alternatives that trade size or material for a lower price or a longer review history.
What Could Be Better
The missing rubber backing is the clearest drawback in this olanly thick chenille bathroom review, and it means you should budget for a separate non-slip pad rather than treat it as optional. Without one, a mat this size can shift underfoot on tile, which matters more given its larger footprint than a smaller single-sink mat.
The bigger gap is review history. The OLANLY Thick Chenille Bathroom Rugs currently have no published star rating or review count, while the Yimobra Memory Foam Bath Mat alone carries 53,970 verified reviews at a 4.5-star average. That does not mean the OLANLY is a worse mat, but it does mean you are buying on specs and price rather than on a track record, and that is worth knowing before you add it to your cart.
If a missing review history or a missing backing is a dealbreaker for you, the alternatives below are worth comparing before you commit to the OLANLY specifically.
Who Is It For?
This mat fits you if you want a wider chenille surface in this olanly thick chenille bathroom review and do not mind adding your own non-slip pad underneath it. It also suits anyone comparing options by specs and price rather than by review history, since the OLANLY Thick Chenille Bathroom Rugs sit at $9.99, the same price as the GRANNY SAYS Gray Bathroom Rug.
It is a weaker fit if you want a mat with an established review history to lean on, since the Yimobra Memory Foam Bath Mat's 53,970 verified reviews give buyers more confidence than a newer listing can offer yet. It is also a weaker fit if you need built-in grip without buying a separate pad, since the OLANLY ships without backing.
Anyone furnishing a shared or family bathroom should weigh the size here, since a 30 by 20 inch mat covers more of the floor than the typical single-vanity size, reducing how much bare tile stays exposed after a shower.
Alternatives to Consider
If the missing backing or the lack of review history in this olanly thick chenille bathroom review gives you pause, these three alternatives cover different priorities: a similarly priced rug in a different material, a half-circle mat for a different footprint, and a memory foam pick with a large, verified review base.

Final Verdict
This olanly thick chenille bathroom review comes down to size and price against an open question on review history. At $9.99, the OLANLY Thick Chenille Bathroom Rugs match the GRANNY SAYS Gray Bathroom Rug on price, and the 30 by 20 inch chenille pile is sized for a wider vanity than a narrow single-sink spot. Add a non-slip pad underneath it and the OLANLY is a reasonable pick if plush, oversized coverage matters more to you than an established review history.
If you would rather lean on verified feedback before you buy, the Yimobra Memory Foam Bath Mat's 53,970 reviews at a 4.5-star average give it the strongest track record of the four options compared in this olanly thick chenille bathroom review. Either way, measure your bathroom floor first, since the OLANLY's 30 by 20 inch size is built for a wider space rather than a tight single-sink layout.
Price alone will not settle this decision, since three of the four mats in this comparison sit within fifty cents of each other. What should guide your choice is whether you value the OLANLY's thicker chenille pile and larger size, or the proven review history that only the Yimobra currently offers.
